MSc
Laurens brings a unique combination of physics expertise and healthcare IT experience to Healthplus.ai. Working closely with physicians at Leiden University Medical Center, he developed and validated the predictive model that PERISCOPE currently uses and is working on the next generation. Before joining the team, he spent nearly seven years at LUMC, first as a technical application manager and later as a Technical Data Scientist.
He holds a Master's degree in Physics from Leiden University and has published research in Nature Communications on magnetic resonance force microscopy. His background in service delivery and IT management helps bridge the gap between complex data science and practical hospital implementations.
