Henk is a passionate leader of science- and technology-based innovation with positive impact on society. He served as Global CTO at Royal Philips for over six years, where he led R&D and supported the company's transformation into a focused HealthTech company.

He holds a PhD in molecular physics from Leiden University and received the Royal Shell Prize for his discoveries in quantum transport phenomena. Today he advises organisations including Healthplus.ai, Quantum Delta NL, and the AI Coalition for the Netherlands.
