Hein is Chief Operating Officer at Healthplus.ai and a healthcare operations leader with more than 25 years of experience spanning the operating room, hospital management and healthtech customer success. At Healthplus.ai, he leads operations and the hospital rollout of PERISCOPE, the company's CE-marked AI system for predicting postoperative infections. He helps hospitals move clinical AI from pilot to daily practice by aligning surgical teams, IT and management around implementation and adoption.

Hein trained as a scrubnurse  and clinical OR educator at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, holds bachelor's degrees in healthcare management from Fontys and Inholland, and an Executive MBA in Healthcare Management from Nyenrode Business University. Before joining Healthplus.ai, he was Head of Customer Success – EMEA at the surgical education platform Incision. He previously served as Director of Operations at Stichting Human Concern, location manager at DC Klinieken and department head for surgical specialties at Spaarne Gasthuis, and advised hospital boards on strategy and EHR selection as a consultant at ResultaatGroep.
