Jobs at Healthplus.ai

DevOps Engineer

with a Security Mindset

Healthplus.ai is an Amsterdam-based HealthTech startup focused on enabling proactive surgical care by leveraging the power of AI on existing medical data. To help us with configuring and maintaining our data science infrastructure and developing our AI platform, we are hiring a full-time DevOps engineer.

About us

Healthplus.ai is building machine-learning-based software that aids clinicians to provide more personalized and proactive patient care, based on insights from existing data, leading to improved patient outcomes, more efficient clinical workflows and a better experience.

Our PERISCOPE product is an AI-based decision support system for clinicians. Specifically, based on EHR data,  it predicts a patient's post-surgery infection risk. With the infection risk score presented back to the clinician, action can be taken to reduce severity or fully prevent an infection, greatly improving patient outcomes and reducing their length of stay at the hospital.

After validating PERISCOPE in several large academic hospitals in the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway, the platform is further developed into a production-ready product. In this process we closely collaborate with our partners SAS and PW Consulting to get PERISCOPE certified as a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
